Anshika Goyal

is a multi-genre Singer-Songwriter, Guitarist and Vocal Coach based in Melbourne.

Who's Anshi anyway?

Anshika (aka Anshi) is a genre-fluid vocalist and songwriter moving effortlessly through indie, hybrid-pop, contemporary jazz, and the occasional country twist. Her style is rooted in storytelling, improvisation, and emotional honesty—creating performances that feel like open-hearted conversations. Sometimes whispered, sometimes belted, always refreshingly real. No two moments are the same, and that’s exactly the point.

Before moving to Melbourne, she performed extensively across India, with over 300 shows in 2018 and 2019. In 2022, she packed her stuff and moved to Australia to pursue a Master of Music degree in Melbourne. This chapter deepened her love for vocal performance, songwriting, and the quiet magic of a well-placed breath.

Her songwriting explores themes of connection, growth, and change—with improvisation playing a central role in her creative process. Whether she’s on stage, in the studio, or journaling by candlelight, Anshi approaches her art holistically, believing that voice, body, and soul must move together.

She’s also a dedicated vocal coach with over a decade of experience helping singers around the world discover their sound and deepen their confidence. Her teaching style blends structured technique with intuitive exploration—making room for each student’s individuality, pace, and creative instincts.

In all things—music, teaching, life—Anshi’s mission is simple: to create spaces where people feel seen, heard, and free to be exactly who they are.

Nice things clients want you to know about Anshi

Anshika has been teaching my daughters music for over 3 years. She effortlessly made the transition from on-site to online lessons. Both girls, who have very different voices, have blossomed under her tutelage and are increasingly picked for singing solos in school. My younger daughter was only 5 when she started and fell asleep during the first couple of online lessons. Anshika changed the format of her lessons to a story-based format, and they were off to the races. My older daughter views her as both a music guru and a confidante, and their relationship (and frankly, her singing) has evolved into something beautiful over the last few years. Both girls wake up early for their music lesson on Sunday and are always eager to jump out of bed to learn music. She is truly exemplary.

Anshika is everything I was looking for in a singing teacher, she's very friendly and approachable, professional and supportive. O have only good things to say as I'm seeing making myself make really good progress in my various singing goals!

I can safely say that Anshika ma'am was the best teacher I've ever had in my entire educational and extracurricular journey combined. She was the first teacher with whom I explored my interest in Western music, and once she was the one to teach me, I wanted to learn from no other teacher. She was so dedicated to teaching that she held class initially especially for me in her new house that was yet to even be set up. The place that music holds in my heart and my life is all thanks to her. I'm grateful to her for giving me somthing so special to carry with me for the rest of my life.

As a musical theatre actor, Anshika has been a brilliant mentor in helping me improve my vocal health and technique. Not only is she friendly and kind, but also a super adaptable teacher who truely cares about every student.
